Lydia Dargan – EYFS Teacher in Dolphins Class

I am the Dolphins class teacher and I couldn’t have wished for a better school than Roselands to complete my first year of teaching. Before teaching I worked in a nursery for 5 years and grew up surrounded by a large family.

My passion lies in Early Years and I believe learning through play is at the heart of the Reception Classroom. Learning is fun and engaging, and I believe this motivates children to be the best they can be. Through the opportunities I provide in my classroom, I hope that children develop a love for learning, a love for my classroom and a love for the school environment.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, and going on adventures to find new places. I love to watch football, and I support the best team ever, Liverpool. I also occasionally watch Brighton and Hove Albion play at the Amex and love cheering them on!

I am very excited and grateful to be working at Roselands and look forward to my time at this wonderful school!
