Robyn Scott – Year 2 Teacher in Tigers Class

I am an NQT teacher at Roselands and I am delighted to be teaching Tigers in Year 2 this school year. I first met the Roselands team when I volunteered in Year 1 in 2017. After this I realised how much I wanted to teach and to become a class teacher so I took up studying at Brighton University for my PGCE year. For two of my placements I was able to join Roselands for 3 terms whilst I studied. Being given this opportunity to work at Roselands has been an amazing experience so far where I have been able to apply all of my learning from the other experienced teachers in the Roselands Stafford Federation. My main goal as a teacher is to support the children in their development by showing them the skills they need to have so they too can achieve their dreams.

Outside of school I enjoy getting creative by painting, cooking and gardening. I also like to keep active when I can by going to the gym. I like to keep healthy by making exercise fun so I regularly attend a class called aerial hoop. I enjoy spending time with family, friends and a good book too!
